WHO WE ARE

OutFit was organized to benefit the LGBTQIA+ community of Paducah and its surrounding areas through community outreach. OutFit’s mission is to help those Fit in a community that stands Out.
OutFit has been a longstanding dream of its founder, Sam Bussey (she/her). Carrying the knowledge she and her partner, Korrina Davidson (she/her), have gained through their various roles in the LGBTQIA+ community, they are eager to continue serving Paducah in ways they have always envisioned. With the help of Sam's mom, Cathy Priest, Sam & Korrina’s goal to build a community centered around love, acceptance, and inclusion can become a reality.
OutFit offers a safe space for EVERYONE. As our organization continues to grow, we want to give back to the LGBTQIA+ community by providing valuable resources for its members and allies. Our goal is to help educate, assist, and develop connections with the people of our community.

MEET OUR TEAM
SAM BUSSEY - FOUNDER & EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Originally born in Spokane, WA, Sam moved to Western Kentucky at a young age and was raised in Paducah, KY by her mom, Cathy. In school, Sam was a dedicated athlete, participating in soccer, track and field, cross country, and her favorite, basketball.
After graduating from St. Mary, Sam attended Murray State University, where she received her Bachelor's in English, with a minor in Psychology. It was during her time in Murray that she came out and realized a great need for LGBTQIA+ resources and the idea for OutFit was born. However, her dream of OutFit was put on hold when she went on to attend Valparaiso University School of Law, where she obtained her Juris Doctorate. Sam returned to her hometown of Paducah in 2015, where she has served her community through the legal field since.
While limited, Sam enjoys spending her free time on stage as her drag king persona, Trey Rawlings. As Trey, she hosts a bi-monthly, all-age drag show at a local favorite, Paducah Beer Werks. Through the shows there, she strives to continue her mission of creating a safe and inclusive environment for all.
MEET OUR TEAM
KORRINA DAVIDSON - ASSISTANT EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
A Paducah native, Korrina has always been passionate about the growth of the community.
A graduate of Lone Oak High School, Korrina has an extensive and diverse background spanning from the service industry, to real estate, to banking. Though her methods may be unconventional, she is dedicated to constantly learning and evolving. You can always count on Korrina as a wealth of knowledge for random facts.
Korrina's passion for event planning go hand-in-hand with Sam's love for drag, as she works behind the scenes at the Paducah Beer Werks drag shows to orchestrate production. As a hard worker with a servant's heart, she enjoys staying involved with various community outreach projects.
As time allows, Korrina enjoys diving into the pages of a good book, spending time with Sam and their loved ones, especially their two Boston Terriers and black cat, and traveling to destinations near and far.

Come on out ;) and kick off PRIDE MONTH with OutFit at Maiden Alley Cinema! We are so excited to be part of this year's Community Focus Movie Series, generously sponsored by Marrs Property Group - Keller Williams Experience Realty! Join us Thursday, June 5th, for Love, Simon – a coming of age, and coming out – tale!
Simon Spier is just your average teenager... he's got a loving family, great friends, and a big secret! Follow Simon as he embarks on a journey of self discovery and navigates the trials & tribulations of adolescence. This heartwarming film will make you laugh, cry, and fill you with PRIDE! Come celebrate love, celebrate yourself, and celebrate your community, WITH YOUR COMMUNITY!
We can't wait to see you Thursday, June 5th! The film will show 7:00 PM. Tickets are $10, with 50% of proceeds benefiting OutFit. The film is rated PG-13 (thematic elements, sexual references, language, and depictions of teen partying).

Time sure flies when you're having fun! We can't believe it's already time for our 1st ANNIVERSARY, and the 2nd annual PRIDE AT PBW DRAG SHOW!
Calling all the girls & gays, the thems & theys! No matter who you are, how you identify, or where you come from, YOU BELONG – in this world and AT THIS SHOW!!! So COME OUT to Paducah Beer Werks on Saturday, June 7th, for an incredible night of entertainment, community, love, and help us celebrate ONE YEAR OF OUTFIT!!!
Hosted by our very own Trey Rawlings (Sam) & Korrina, the evening will feature electrifying performances by a phenomenal cast including Alejandra Leblanc Leight, Barbara Dare, Cierra DeVil, Noah Mazzaratie Steele, VyVika Evangeline, and Zane Mazzaratie Steele!
There will once again be a COSTUME CONTEST! So come dressed in your PRIDEFUL BEST!

One of our favorite events, the ALL AGES PRIDE PAINT & SIP, is back!!! This time better and more colorful than ever before!!! Introducing... PRIDE PAINT & SIP!
Join us Saturday, June 28th, from 2-6 PM as we team up with Dry Ground Brewing Company, Etcetera Coffeehouse, and other partners to bring our community an All Ages Paint & Sip!
We will have arts & crafts with Provider Enrichment Services, brews from Dry Ground, lemonade from Etc., stamp making with Uncle Bacon, a custom tee bar with Mighty Tees, face painting with Meraki House of Style, and FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY! This event is open to ALL AGES and admission is FREE!!! Minors must be accompanied by a guardian.
Also for this event, as a fun way to get our community involved, we are hosting a PRIDE T-SHIRT DESIGN CONTEST!
The team at Mighty Tees is working hard to bring unique & custom designs to our t-shirt bar. And YOU have the opportunity to take responsibility for ONE of them! Now thru May 31st, we are asking our community members to submit t-shirt designs that will be available for purchase at the Pride Paint & Sip! Proceeds of sales will benefit OutFit and our mission to serve our community.

Once submissions close at 11:59PM CST on May 31st, our teams will work together to choose the top designs. We will the open voting on those designs to the public. The winning design will be available for purchase EXCLUSIVELY at our ALL AGES PRIDE PAINT & SIP on June 28th at Dry Ground!
